Lemonaid Health (now part of 23andMe) is a San Francisco-based, national telehealth company that allows patients to skip their traditional doctor visit and instead do so online and remotely. Patients can chat online with a doctor to get birth control or certain prescription drugs to treat simple conditions, like urinary tract infections or erectile dysfunction.

Our vision is to provide consumers convenient access to personalized, proactive and genetically based primary care," said Anne Wojcicki, CEO and co-founder of 23andMe, during a conference call with investors Friday. "There is a huge opportunity for us to be able to help our customers, to not just learn about themselves and get their genetic information, but actually pull it through and apply it to their life or their healthcare. This opens up the door for us to really make genetics integrated into care"
