About the Role

Gauzy is hiring! We’re looking for a procurement & logistics manager to join us. As the procurement & logistics manager, you will lead the company’s procurement and logistics team responsible for the entire procurement cycle, from negotiations and order to delivery of all materials, equipment and services essential to support the organization activities. In addition, you will lead all import and export activities of the company consisting in shipments of purchased materials and finish goods to customers. Job Responsibilities: Developing and leading a procurement strategy for the organization including material sourcing, and cost reduction activities. Building and maintaining long term relationships with vendors and suppliers. Managing all company’s import/export activities. Responsibility for negotiations of contracts and agreements with the company’s suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Issuing and monitoring contracts and purchase orders issued to vendors and following up as necessary to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Establishing performance metrics to monitor and evaluate supplier’s performance based on KPI’s and SLA’s to maximize benefits in terms of delivery, price and quality. Managing a team of an assistant buyer & import/ export coordinator. Preparing procurement reports.


  • Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a procurement manager in a manufacturing environment. Startup / hi-tech environment.
  • Proven experience in the field of purchasing chemical materials and equipment.
  • SAP B1 expert – an advantage.
  • An excellent communicator and negotiator.
  • Multitasking champion, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player.
  • Strong attention to details and order.
  • Fluent in English – A must.
  • Strong MS Excel, word skills.
